The Whitefriars Heathland Federation is a multi-academy trust comprising of Heathland and Whitefriars Schools in Harrow. Heathland School is a 3-11 primary school judged to be outstanding by Ofsted 2010 and 2014. It is UNICEF accredited level to Rights Respecting School as well as being nationally accredited as a ‘Thinking School’ and an ‘Eco School’. Its performance is in the top 1.5% of schools nationally.

In recognition of the Federation’s Outstanding leadership (Ofsted 2010,2012,2014) and high performance, the government funded a new £16 million pound building so Whitefrairs could launch a secondary section in 2015 and expand to be a 3-19 through-school with sixth form.

We are seeking to recruit an Upper KS2 classroom teacher who as well as sharing our values based ethos, can create a dynamic classroom culture where pupils’ positivity engages them actively in the process of learning and enables them to explore what learning is.

Scale 1: Actual salary £4,348 • 10 hours/wk • Term time only
Permanent and As and When Contracts at Heathland and Whitefriars Schools

Support SMSAs are responsible for securing and maintaining the safety, welfare and conduct of pupils in the dining areas, playground and circulation areas during the midday break period. Satisfactory references from all previous employers must be obtainable.

The Heathland Whitefriars Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. You will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
